Who we are

Xygenyx is a product development and intellectual property company. Our address is 2623 Pleasant Hill Rd, Pleasant Hill, CA 94523.

This policy covers xygenyx.com. It does not cover any other website, including the sites of brands that sell products Xygenyx developed. Those brands operate independently and publish their own policies.

What this site is

This is a business-to-business information site. We do not sell products here, we do not take payments, and there are no user accounts. The only way to submit information is the partnership inquiry form.

What we collect

When you use the inquiry form, we collect the information you enter:

• Your name — required
• Your company — required
• Your email address — required
• The type of partnership you are interested in — optional
• A description of what you are looking for — optional, free text

We do not ask for a postal address, a telephone number, or any financial information, and we do not ask for health information. Please do not include information in the free-text field that you would not want held in an ordinary business email.

Our hosting provider automatically records standard technical information when a page is requested, including IP address, browser type and the time of the request. This is generated by the server, not collected by us, and is used to operate and secure the site.

Why we use it

To respond to your enquiry and to have the conversation you started. If that conversation becomes a commercial relationship, information you give us afterwards is governed by the agreement between us rather than by this policy.

We do not use the information for advertising, and we do not build profiles of individual visitors. Analytics tells us about traffic in aggregate, not about you. We do not send marketing email unless you ask us to.

Who else sees it

Service providers who operate the site on our behalf — our hosting provider, the service that delivers form submissions, our email provider, and Google, which provides the analytics described above. They act on our instructions and only for these purposes.

Other companies within our corporate group, where your enquiry concerns them. They are bound by the same commitments set out here.

Anyone we are legally required to disclose to, or where disclosure is necessary to protect our rights or someone’s safety.

We do not sell personal information, and we do not share it for cross-context behavioural advertising, as those terms are used under California law.

Cookies and analytics

This site uses Google Analytics to measure how it is used — how many people visit, which pages they read, roughly where they come from. It sets two first-party cookies. Google’s advertising features are switched off on our account, so nothing here is used to advertise to you.

How long we keep it

Enquiries are kept for as long as needed to respond and to maintain a record of the business conversation, and then deleted. Where an enquiry becomes an engagement, records are retained under the agreement governing it.

Security

The site is served over an encrypted connection and submissions are transmitted encrypted. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we do not claim otherwise.

Your choices and rights

You can ask us what we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it. Write to hello@xygenyx.com and we will respond.

If you are a California resident, state law gives you specific rights — to know what we collect and why, to have it deleted, to have it corrected, and not to be treated differently for exercising those rights. Because we do not sell or share personal information, there is nothing for you to opt out of, but you may still make the other requests.

If you contact us from outside the United States, note that your information is processed in the United States.

Children

This site is directed at businesses, not at children, and we do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 16.

Changes

We may update this policy. The current version is always at this address, and the effective date above tells you when it last changed.
